Robert and Jerry (Crail) Johnson above founded the Crail-Johnson Foundation in 1983 with a mission “to promote the well being of children, youth, and families in need through the effective application of human and financial resources.”

The couple’s children–Eric, Alan, Ann, and Craig–and other family and community members have continued the Johnsons’ work since their passing.

Executive Director Rachel Roth below has served in the Crail-Johnson position since 2013. She is also a board member with her family's Roth Family Foundation, an early Wooten donor.

About

The Wooten Center is very pleased to honor the Crail-Johnson Foundation and its Executive Director Rachel Roth as our 2025 Catch the Vision Award recipient. The foundation has awarded grants to our center for 11 years since 2002. We thank them for their long-time support, including this event.

Click here for our April e-news sharing the foundation's background and involvement at the center with support from Rachel for seven of the 11 funded years.

Our Vision Awards Dinner is a charitable event raising individual and corporate donations for our free afterschool and low-cost summer programs for students in grades 3-12. We need supporters to purchase sponsorships, tickets, and program book advertisements. We need auction gifts such as art, jewelry, hotel stays, airline miles, restaurant and museum gift cards, amusement park tickets, handbags, executive office accessories, and more. Financial gifts in any amount are welcome.

We would love for you to join us to enjoy a beautiful night with a seated dinner, silent auction, live jazz band and dancing, honoree and youth speakers, and presentations of medals to Student Achievers and the Vision trophy to Crail-Johnson Foundation.
